With the rise in ultra processed food it is more important than ever to cook using raw ingredients. This recent article in the Guardian talks about the health dangers of consuming too much ultra processed food.
Have your teen join me every Monday evening for four weeks on Zoom from the comfort of your own kitchen. Your TY student will cook a delicious meal with me. Each class will cover basic kitchen skills and techniques. On the menu will be chilli, curry, noodles, and a healthy spice bag. All meals can be vegetarian. Recipes will be sent out a week in advance so you have time to get all the ingredients.
Cooking is a life skill - so have a night off cooking and get your teen to cook dinner! It's a win-win!
